Thanks for contacting me about this. It's obvious you feel quite strongly about this, so I'll try to get this sorted out quickly.
You where banned from Community Central for spam, as you were exhibiting behavior similar to spam users. Note that Wikia is not a place to market products or services. In your case, this was the advertising of "Luv'N Learn Licensed In-Home Childcare".
Your actions include editing and renaming a help page for this purpose. As such, you've been blocked. I am happy to unblock you if you are a legitimate user, but please bear in mind that any further unsolicited marketing will result in you being reported to the VSTF.
Um, I was gonna edit my global.js in Community Central today and only then did I realise that I was blocked! I have no clue what happened and since when I was blocked. So I tried contacting you there but it looks I'm unable to do so due to the block. Hence the message here and I hope this issue will be looked into soon.
No, it redirected me to the log-in page, so I typed my username and password again.. I thought I cleared my cache, so I tried it once again and again it redirected me to the log-in page asking me to log-in..

Tomek and I saw your question on the Community blog comments about a board going missing on your Forum. We've been trying to figure out what's up -- there are a couple things in recent changes here that are unexpected.
Can you tell us what the steps were that led up to noticing the problem? Any details that you can remember will help us figure out what's going on. Thanks!
Okay, I will do my best to remember, but as RC is currently missing some key system messages to actually tell happened to what, I may miss something.
Firstly, I edited the board list: I merged every default board into General Discussion, and saved. This was fine.
Next, I created a new board entitled ''Casualty'' Discussion. the purpose of this was to test if I could make an italics title. Obviously I couldn't, so I went back into Special:Forum and renamed it to Casualty Discussion.
At the same time as renaming it, I created Holby City Discussion. On saving, the Casualty board disappeared from the list.
I hope this helps. It is probably my italics test which caused it.
Hi, sorry I didn't reply till now. Thanks for the poke. :)
I'm looking at all the bug reports today, and you're right, there are some missing system messages in RC. So that explains the "Empty board" items that were confusing us.
I tried reproducing the italics test on another wiki, and it didn't trigger a bug. The Board titles ignore wikitext, so all you were doing was adding and removing apostrophes. I also tried renaming, adding and deleting boards all in the same session, and it still worked as I expected.
What happens if you add another board called Casualty Discussion?
Hey, Eladkse! So it's been a while since we've talked :)
Anyways, I was wondering if you could help me with wiki formatting. In case if you didn't know, the VGHS wiki had a recent success with attaining an admin (which was me, not to brag or anything, just saying), but there's one problem I don't really know how to fix. It has to do with the wiki's background format.
So I use a CSS page to format the background (and change the hilte colors of the special users on the wiki such as admins, crats, Wikia employees, etc.), but when editing in visual mode (which has been brought up by multiple users), the background goes over the editing box, thus making it hard to see.
As you can see, I don't know how to fix it, which is why I'm here. Do you think you could fix it if you're not too busy or at least teach/tell me how to make it so that the background doesn't interfere with the editing box?
RE: Message Wall - It's my sandbox, so I need to test the latest and greatest that comes out of Wikia's backside.
Anyways, it's a strange thing with Oasis. For Chrome and IE9, the enter key takes the action of the first button after the searchbox. The js simply adds a 'go' button before the default one, making the searchbox 'go' instead.
For Firefox, it takes the action of a hidden variable which I also modify in the js. I'm sure this would also work for Chrome and IE9, but as the whole point of my design is two buttons, I haven't tested this. (My first version lacked this part of the code, which meant it didn't work in FF; only Chrome and IE9).
Older IE browsers don't work though, but who cares about them? :)
I was just wondering. My home wiki takes advantage of how monobook searches work, and redirects all searches through there. I still haven't found out if doing a search like this violates ToU or not, although seeing as not many wikis are willing to risk it I'm guessing it does.
